This is resin terrain cast in approximately 2.5 inch diameter hexagonal pieces.  The pieces were primed black and painted with various GW Citadel and Ral Partha  acrylic paints.  All the sections were then clear-coated for protection.  The water sections were then given one or two coats of clear nail polish lacquer to represent depth and shininess.
